Patlite has released the CLA-02 and CLK-02 series of LED work lights, designed to offer reliability in extreme industrial environments. The new lighting solutions aim to deliver bright and efficient lighting in areas where water, oil, and chemicals are present.

Hardy and Hygienic: CLA-02 LED Work Lights

The CLA-02 LED work light features impact-resistant polycarbonate housing, IP67/IP69K protection, and ECOLAB certification, making it suitable for environments that need regular sterilization. The light is capable of withstanding temperatures between -40°C and 60°C and is resistant to common cleaning chemical agents, including hydrogen peroxide spray, Topactive 500, and Topaz MD6, verified through ECOLAB testing. This resistance makes the line suitable for pharmaceutical lines, food production facilities, and cleanrooms.

When it comes to installation and connectivity, the CLA-02 features an M12 connector option and a daisy chain wiring topology that reduces errors and speeds up installation. To cater to different mounting needs, the latest work light comes standard with a rear mounting bracket (SZW-301) and an optional stainless steel (SZW-304) and magnetic (SZW-302) bracket.

Compared to its predecessors, the CLA-2 provides a 65% boost in luminous flux and 71% higher illuminance. The LED light also delivers a wide 120° light spread with a constant brightness and features a milky white housing to eliminate glare and shadows, making it well-suited for control panels and inspection zones.

For use in semiconductor manufacturing, Patlite also offers an amber version designed to reduce blue light (430 nm to 490 nm) as it features a 590 nm peak wavelength. This version helps prevent interference during photolithography, ensuring both safety and process reliability.

Oil-Resistant and Watertight: CLK-02 LED Work Lights

Built for machine tools and metalworking environments, the new CKL-02 LED work light features a dust-proof, watertight, oil-resistant, and IP66G/IP67G/IP69K-rated build that ensures reliable illumination even under continuous exposure to coolants.

The new lighting solution boasts its reliability and consistent performance in oil-rich environments, as validated by 240-hour immersion tests in diluted cutting oil from major brands. The CLK-02 is offered in two lens options: a standard lens for wide coverage and a spot lens for focused task lighting. With a Ra80 color rendering index, the work light can accurately represent colors, enhancing visual inspection and operator comfort.

A standard pan/tilt bracket offers precise positioning of the CLK-02, while the optional SZW-305 and SZW-306 brackets offer added flexibility in installation. Additionally, the CLK-02’s reinforced glass lens and aluminium housing ensure long-term durability, even in high-vibration machines such as EDM and CNC lathes.
