Does anyone know of a manufacturer of touchscreens that could be connected to Bacnet LAN?

Check out http://www.bacnetassociation.org
They haven't gotten around to specifying tests for the BACnet Operator Workstations yet. But the site will give you a starting point for your search.

P.S. As you move between the marketing and testing parts of the site, don't let the pile of open browser windows put you off. They're better testers than webmasters.

Yes - Any one of a number of higher-end products will work. Have you looked at the iPanel from Control Technology? They probably have an ad at the top of this page. Combine that with a BACnet/OPC driver and you're in business. I've used the Cimetrics driver for this in the past.

All that being said, I really couldn't tell you if the product is right for you. What is the application? Does it really need to be BACnet? Does it really need to be a touch screen? What will it interface to?

Other alternative is you can use protocol converter from Fieldserver, eg BacNet to Modbus TCP ethernet protocol & can use any HMI panel eg Nematron or Uticor product with Modbus TCP driver.

I have been using a BACnet Touchscreen HMI (NVT70P) made by Airtek for the last three years to create interfaces with Siemens HVAC controllers. The HMIs are 7" touchscreens and are priced below $750 (or were when I last purchased).

I support HVAC systems at a military base and the central Computer based control was deemed to be a security threat, so it was removed - leaving no way to see what was going on with the controls for on-site technicians. All of the screens I have used so far are text only - as requested by the techs who are not interested in "pretty pictures". A typical interface will cover a building section which could have 3-5 controllers. The NVT70P Touchscreen is RS-485 communications. They have another touchscreen - NVT70PE that has both a RS-485 port and an Ethernet port - but only one can be used in an application.

To apply this product, it is important to know the BacNET instance of the device, and the BACnet Object number - which can be a trick to identify (especially in Siemens control). The HMI programing software is free - click on the link below to see product.

The US distributor is Blackhawk Supply - (+18477730645) ask for Adem Erturk (X-212) who is most knowledgable on this product
