New here, I've recently started a new employment adventure and was thrown into an "480 3phase " enviroment, being forgetful of this study way back in school, i need to know where I can find some quick catch up reading in this topic. Thank you for any help you may suggest.

Be very careful, power systems of this nature are not very forgiving by nature. A good source of info can be found at...

Responding to MDR37129's Jul 16, 11:12 pm query:

Two excellent references covering AC fundamentals are:

1) One prepared by US Navy personnel:

"Basic Electricity"
Dover Publications.
ISBN 0-486-20973-3.

2) My first EE textbook:

"Principles of Electrical Engineering"
WH Timbie; Vannevar Bush; GB Hoadley.
John Wiley & Sons.

Go to the library and look for Croft's American Electricians Handbook, or google for same. Older versions are better, apparently they don't think you need to know as much now.
