In one of my projects, I have 2 sets of Seimens 1510 model and HMI 12 inch controlling 2 similar but independent identical equipment. Equipment are configured to work on working and standby mode to provide uninterrupted operation. Both the equipment must have identical configurations and parameter settings. PLC and HMI are connected through Ethernet TCP IP Modbus protocol.
As I want to have identical configuration set up and parameters setting how do I achieve this - i.e I don't want to have 2 different configuration and settings in the 2 PLCs as this will create problem due to human error and there is a possibility of operator entering 2 different values for ex. set point, timer value etc. When the operator changes value in one PLC via HMI the same value should be entered in the other PLC also.
Pl. let me know whether this possible. All PLCs and HMIs are connected to same ethernet port network.
