Isochronous load sharing lines - Dissimilar Generators

Is it practically feasible to successfully test, commission, and operate isochronous load sharing lines for load sharing between one steam turbine generator (STG - 1.5MW) and three diesel engine–driven generators (3.5MW), given that the generators are dissimilar?
Normally the steam turbine reacts more slowly than the diesel engine. this can cause the 2301E-ST controller to react slowly to the changes in the island grid in ISO load sharing mode, resulting in load shifts, oscillations or instabilities on the load sharing line.
Will changing from analog sharing line to digital sharing line help?

@Selk,

First of all, are you having problems with this configuration OR are you anticipating problems with this configuration???

Second, dissimilar generators are synchronized together all the time—on large systems and on small systems. They are more likely to be using Isochronous Load Control in smaller systems than larger systems.

Third, these are good questions for Woodward. They have some very knowledgeable people in Ft. Collins, Co, USA. I have generally had good success when asking for advice or help.
