MSF,
Thank you for the full clarification.
Now, the subject of this thread was regarding GE-design Frame 7F tripping on low gas fuel trip oil pressure. Your questions were about Frame 5s and failure to fire sequencing.
In the future, if you have what is, or you feel or know to be a unique, question please start a new thread with an appropriate Subject. And please try to remember--we are not standing or sitting or working next to so we don't know the particulars of your site or your units or the control systems or the auxiliaries or the operating history or the fuel(s) used at your site. We also don't know your experience or background. And, finally, all GE-design heavy duty gas turbines are NOT alike. Not all Frame 5s, or 6Bs, or 9Es or 7Fs; none of them. They are similar in that they all suck and squeeze and burn and blow and have can-annular combustors, and share many of the same basic systems (L. O., hydraulic, trip- or control oil, cooling water, etc.). But many were built and packaged by licensees and Business Associates of GE. And some are built by GE in Belfort, France, who are working VERY HARD at upending every proven system and control philosophy and needlessly overcomplicating just about anything they can--because they can. So, when writing, help us help you by telling as much as you would like to be told when being asked a question without being able to see the equipment and systems. The more information you can provide, the more help we can usually provide. And the replies may be shorter and more concise.
Thanks!
