Aero GT vibration monitor bently nevada

Hello guys. I have two vibration speed sensors(accelerometr) installed on the rear frame of the lm2500 compressor. They are connected to the aero gt vibration modul bentley nevada. One of the sensors has started to underestimate the values, which are close to zero. In the photo where I have circled it in red, I measured the voltage, which is -10 VDC everywhere. This is the same as on the working sensor. Therefore, I have a question: should I measure the voltage or something else?

Hello,

Are the accelerometers on the same section of the engine but at the 4 and 6 o'clock positions(AFT looking FWD)?

Measuring the voltage wont help, you would probably need a decent meter to see the variations in signal.

Couple of things you can do, without the correct test equipment.

Put the channels for both accelerometers in bypass and swap the sensors at the converters. Blue box from memory for the BN3500, the screw connection at VT16. If the vibration remains low on the same channel, its not the sensor, possibly could be the converter. If it changes channels it is the sensor.

In my experience 9/10 times its the sensor, you can test them if you have a shaker table.

Cheers
