This is applicable to all the gas turbines,my interest is with respect to Frame9E/DLN1.

With only gas fuel available,is it possible to take out the atomising air compressor (aux gear operated) and jumper the suction and discharge connections.

Otherwise,any liquid nozzle level blocking may help to take off the atomising air compressor.

This is to conserve the energy.

 

This is possible, but it involves much more than just removing the AA compressor. And if you're thinking that this process can be quickly reversed when gas fuel becomes available, it can't be.
