I require guidance or sample code for communicating (reading, writing) PLC tags for development of small mobile app to control (on/off) small process from a android mobile using wifi/data connectivity. PLC can be AB, Siemens or Schneider.

Anybody having similar experience can share their experiences or sample code. I have 20 yrs experience in all kinds of PLC and associated programming. Learnt java and android programming as well.

Today there are many android apps that can create mobile SCADA, but almost use Modbus TCP. If you can create mobile app that can communicate with multi protocol (Ethernet IP, Profinet), it is advantage for you.
