Does anyone knows of a Serial, USB or Ethernet module for reading the Balance and Counting information coming from a Load Cell?

This module should be Din Rail and should come with the needed drivers to get data into Visual Basic 2005.

Here’s a suggestion…

WAGO makes a strain gauge module (750-491) with an input range of -16mv to +16mv. Use this module with a WAGO Ethernet Coupler (750-342 or 750-341) and you’ll be able to read the weight via Ethernet (Modbus/TCP).

If you don’t want to write your own Modbus/TCP driver, WAGO also sells a driver (a standard DLL), which makes it easy to interface with VB2005.

This equipment uses DIN-rail mounting.
