Hello, I have a problem with setting parameter 369 (motor type) to value 2 (three phase synchronous motor) using the KP500 panel. Only values 0 and 1 are available, which mean: motor is not ia standard mode (0) and three phase asynchronous motor (1). However, I need to start a synchronous motor in the sensorless field oriented control mode (configuration 410). I have made various attempts but without success. Please support.

 

If your drive does not show P1300 = 20 or does not accept P369 = 2 even in Expert mode, your firmware may not support synchronous motors. Then use a G120 (not C) with CU240E-2 or CU250S-2, which do support synchronous motors in SFOC mode.
