I have a Ford Focus Car and am putting the engine into another car. I have fixed every fault (doors open, etc.) but the power steering pump which communicates on Canbus is the last item I need to fool the ECU.
I pulled the pump apart and found a TJA1050 High speed CAN transceiver and infineon C164 controller.
What I need to do is monitor the Canbus signals on a working car and replicate it with off the shelf digital I/O Canbus node. I have a Nation Instruments Canbus PCMCIA card in the PC to monitor the data.
Can you recommend cheap Canbus I/O where I can easily set the node address and bridge the I/O to simulate the pump control?
