Im having problems to keep a stable connection when im transmiting data between a data server and a gprs terminal.
This is what I do in a few words
I have several gprs terminals (all has the same problems,not simultaneous though
) that are connected to a data server.
The terminals are pinging the data server every third or fourth minute to keep the connection alive. And sometimes the dataserver are sending information ( its meant to be 'order information' in the future ).
This is working fine most of the time but up to 1-5 times per day I have really high delays and I can try transmit packages up to 7-8 times before it gets throuhg. This can cost me up to 5-7 minutes delay in total and will not be accepted by my customer.
Since Ive heard from ppl in the business that its possbile to minimize this problem Im wondering if you guys are having any ideas??
