Guys ! I am not 4m electrical background. I just want to know the reason that "when i gave 3 phase supply to a star connected ac motor from a 1 phase to 3 phase converter, then, the multimeter is showing a voltage difference of about 220V between one of the phases and the motor body, even though the motor body has no current leakage through it".

I have not given any earth to my 1 phase to 3 phase voltage converter, so, can this be the reason?

First of all the frame of your motor and VFD should be earthed for safety. You need to give us some more information, are you seeing 220 V on just one phase to ground or are they all the same?

Sensorless... Please provide the following:

1) The three line-line voltages.

2) The three line-to-ground voltages.

3) The three line currents.

4) The motor ameplate data.

5) Are you using a "true" RMS reading test Instrument?
