I'm looking for electronically controllable valves that can be partially opened (i.e. not just fully opened). It will be used in a water pump system. Does anyone know of any companies that sell such valves?
There are at least three types of these valves; digital (discrete ports), digital inteface (analog valve with serial control), and piezo. Parameters such as flow rate, pressure, and temperature will likely decide which type you need. I work with some of these companies. Let me know if you would like more info.
U can use throttle type valve for proportional control. such type of valves are positioner mounted which helps to maintain valve's position at desired level. U can search the following web site for the same.
I too am looking for a inexpensive valve with digital control, to be used in a potential product we wish to develop. Could you please let me know if there is such a valve we might be able to use?
