I am currently working on an Emerson PLC controller, the CPE330 to be precise. I am new to the Emerson PLC platform; I have been using Allen Bradley PLCs in all my previous experiences. I would like to know what options are available to talk between two or more RX3i-CPE330 controllers, also, I will appreciate if an explanation can be given on how that option works. and configured.

I remember legacy GE IP (Rx3i maker) announced that will be adopting Profinet for all such multi vendor supported interconnections.

 

Ethernet, profinet, Genius Bus, IO link are supported via hardware modules.
