I want to estimate the approximate cost of a transformer and rectifier unit.
The details are
Input voltage 11KV AC
Output voltage 70KV DC
Rating 2MVA
rectifier 12 Pulse
Vector group D/d0y1

Please help me as i am very new to estimation. So far i was working in testing errection and comissioning area.

Why don't you contact one or more firms that supply this type of equipment and ask them for a ballpark figure?

hai,

Yes, my rectified dc output is 70KV DC. This is required for plate power supply for vaccum tubes.

Responding to rajan's Sep 21 comment... having never estimated the cost of a rectifier transformer before, I suggest the following
"Guesstimate":

1) Spec Basis.
A) 3-winding: delta-primary; delta-secondary; and wye-tertiary.
B) Secondary and tertiary windings each provide one-half of the output power requirement, i.e., 1.0 MVA.
C) Secondary and tertiary windings each provide one-half of the output voltage, i,e., 35kV.

2) Trafo Cost Guesstimate.
2/3 to 3/4 the cost of two (2) conventional 2-winding transformers,
each with: a capacity of 1,000 kVA; primary voltage of 11 kV; and secondary voltage of, say 66 kV.

3) Rectifier Package.
Can't come up with a cost!

Correction to my Sep 22 "Spec Basis" paragraph 1A):

Primary, secondary, and tertiary winding connections are Delta-Delta-Wye(D/d/y), respectively!
