The GT unit has been shut down for maintenance for 21 days but the alarm 379 ucp_ucc watchdog time out pops on the ex2000 and clears after reset. it appears again after 2-3 days later.
this alarm does not have a very good description in the manuals. This alarm refers to a problem with the UCP (Micro Application Processor) or the DCP, Drive Control Processor. The UCP is on the TCCB board. The DCP processor is part of either the SDCC or SLCC or LDCC board. The age of your unit determines which board you are using. This is the main processor board for the UC2000.
Since this problem is intermittent it is not easy to diagnose, but it sounds like there is an intermittent problem where the UCP and DCP are unable to communicate with each other, hence the watchdog alarm. My first suggestion would be to remove and reseat all ribbon cables, with the EX2000 completely shut-down and powered off. With new boards GE supplies some special conductive grease. If you have any of this I would suggest adding a small amount to all ribbon cable connectors. Then power the unit back up and clear all diagnostics and alarms and see if the alarm returns.
My other suggestion would be contacting GE Controls Connect and see if they can assist you further. Good luck and please let us know how things proceed.
