Hello every one,
I replaced Beckhoff profibus FC3102 HW: 4, FW:2.58 with new one FC3102 HW:4, FW:2.40 PCI card.
The card installed and work properly in windows XP.
TwinCAT V2.10 needs to update new card ,so I used "Firmware update" button after "search" and select detected actually correct address of card's channel (this shows card correctly installed in windows), BUT following message appears:
FirmwareUptate in not supported by

"the actual FirmwareVersion of the actual device"

Then:
" Firmware update failed! Please check the device"

Please help me how to fix this.

Please Confirm that the card's firmware version(FW: 2.40) is compatible with your version of TwinCAT (v2.10).
TwinCAT v2.10 is quite old, and it may not support firmware versions below 2.58, as required for proper updates.

I see SW. 2.40 on label on card.
You mean I need TwinCAT with higher version? How can I download ?

 

Does the TwinCAT version have anything to do with updating the firmware? Which version can be updated?
