Ok guys i apologize if this is in a post somewhere but from most of the threads i have browsed through the level of detail is giving me a headache lol.
I am new to this line of work and have no support from the vendor what so ever. So here goes.
Stats:
TopServer--OPC Server by Kepware/Software Toolbox
EGX100--Ethernet Gateway
Veris MCM and BCM--RS485 Devices
This is a power monitoring setup. I am monitoring the power readings off of the MCM's and BCM's. Multi Circuit Monitor and Branch Circuit Monitor respectively.
The problem i am having is that the MCM's are very intermittent and noticed that i keep getting exception code 11's on my OPC server.
I read the help file which basically states that exception 11 means the device is not there, but they are and are reporting sometimes.
Any suggestions that might help in clearing these up would be greatly appreciated. I am learning this system both the modbus side and opc side hands on with very little documentation and no training.
Will try to answer any questions to the best of my ability.
