Flow Meter-How to setting up for pulse out

Hi Everyboy!
I want to ask about how to setting up for Pluse out of flow meter Endress Hauser. Examples the max flow rate is 30000l/h. How can we determine the pulse width and pulse value?

Thanks

Hello ALL

FrankNata,

We do not know the type /model of the device , but i suggest you to have a look on the following opearting manual that i found on the web an attached here:
"Promass80 Description of the device functions ".

It contains informatiosn, on how to calculate pulse witdh and value according to the value you that you got.

I am sure that can be an help!
Regards,
James.

Thanks, but I am asking about the math and the calculation. How to determine the value that need input to flow meter with specify flow rate running

Ok here you have it!

See page 47 for math formula calculation of pulse value and witdh .
0.001 to 10000.0
1.0
Setting as to which value a pulse corresponds to (unit/pulse).
! Note!
The max. possible output frequency is 50 Hz. The suitable
pulse value can be determined as follows:
Set width Yes
No
The pulse width limits the max. possible output frequency of
the pulse output.
Standard = pulse width fixed, i.e. always 100 ms.
User defined = pulse width can be freely configured.
Pulse width 0.01 to 10.00 s Configuration of the pulse width suiting the external totalizer.
The maximum permitted pulse width can be calculated as
follows:

Unit value 0.001 to 10000.0
1.0
Setting as to which value a pulse corresponds to (unit/pulse).
! Note!
The max. possible output frequency is 50 Hz. The suitable pulse value can be determined as follows:

Pulse value> Estimated max. flow (end value)/Desired max. output frequency.

width Yes
No
The pulse width limits the max. possible output frequency of
the pulse output.
Standard = pulse width fixed, i.e. always 100 ms.
User defined = pulse width can be freely configured.

Pulse width 0.01 to 10.00 s Configuration of the pulse width suiting the external totalizer.
The maximum permitted pulse width can be calculated as follows:

Pulse width< 1/( 2* max output frequency (hz)).

There is a manual from endress hauser .
It can be found on the web by entering: promag10

There is math formula as you asked for !

Sorry but file is too big to get attached here.

page 47 of what document. Can u give me the link. Because I can not find any document with page 47-key word: promag10 with the content like above

Here is how to get the manual:

1-Tape on the search web navigator ( google in this example):
"endress hauser flow meter pulse width /value calculator"

You will then, click on the first link offered and it should download the manual.

I got the manual but too big for sharing here.

In case you really need to get it you can post your email i will send it to you.

Hope this help,

James

"RMS 621 Energy manager" -what is that??? I don't think that is a manual for flow meter
I know that is for energy managerEndress hauser
As you didnt specify device type /model
Even it is RMS621 Formula remains same .

Thats what i can do for now!
I tried to give you a small help.

There bunch of manual on the web , so just try to find the right one!

Do not hesitate to have a search, on the past thread here, i saw some post treating on the subject.
