Type of my machine is GE Mark 5 Frame 9E DLN2. Last week we tried to do fuel change over after two month. we did 6 time but it was not successful. At the first time it changed (30 MW) .Then we taked the set point to increase the load. The machine tripped with these alarm.

"high exhaust temperature spread trip"

Next times we started then tripped with over speed trip. it was really over speed. Now the machine is running on gas without any problem.

You probably found this site using a search engine.

control.com has an excellent 'Search' function which will return results very quickly. Try using terms like 'fuel transfer' and other related terms. (Use the Help feature for the Search function; it requires a very short learning curve, but it's well worth it.)

This topic has been covered many times before. The problem is most likely <b>NOT</b> the Speedtronic panel.

The benefit of forums like this is that questions can be asked and answered and others can search the forum (its archives) and find those questions and answers. What really makes forums like these useful (as you will find when searching many Speedtronic-related topics here on control.com) is that the feedback that people provide on what works and what doesn't is especially helpful. It's been said many times here on control.com, "Feedback is the most important contribution." It lets the respondents and others, who use the 'Search' function, to know what has worked and what hasn't.

Get to know your turbine and it's auxiliary systems through learning and understanding the Piping Schematic (P&ID) drawings and you will be a much better operator, technician, or supervisor. The key to solving your problem is understanding what the Speedtronic is telling you and what is NOT under the direct control of the Speedtronic.

Best of luck with your problem.
