How can I sense a printing command (parallel port) to 8051?

I am making a box that it is intelligent to pass signal and data to the printer, The box is connect to several computers. My difficulties is using 8051 to sense the printing command. Many thank yous to give attention to my article.

Command from PC depends on the printer type ur using. try to detect the data comming from PC on printer port. Also check for RTS/CTS signals comming from PC when printout is fired.
