I am trying to organize my understanding and improve knowledge about industrial networks.
Can you please correct or comment my understanding about types of communication networks?
1 Producer - Consumer type of networks eg. Can bus
2 Source - Destination type of networks eg. Ethernet
3 Master - Slave type of networks eg. modbus or profibus
4 Token ring type of networks
5 token bus type of networks eg DH
6 Floating bus master type of networks eg. DH+

Please add net type of network or correct me where i am wrong.
Is it possible to classify all industrial networks protocols at all?
