I wish to start a company which will supply instrumentation related stuff to various companies and also take PLC /SCADA projects.

I need help in understanding how can I get a dealership for a good company which provides transmitters etc. and how to get customers? Will the company which gives me dealership also help me initially in getting some customers?

Anyone allowing you to sell their product line wants you to bring customers to the table. That's the service you're providing the manufacturer that you're being "paid" for in the sales transaction.

If customers were low hanging fruit that manufacturers could easily pluck at will, they wouldn't bother hiring others to take a percentage of the sale.

If you don't know who or where the customers are, then you need to do some work to figure that out.

From a practical standpoint, I can't imagine any serious industrial manufacturer using someone without experience in their field, with that experience equating to a knowledge of the customer base.
