How to to simulate a fixed reading/value from Yokogawa Pressure transmitters

We have Yokogawa Pressure transmitter that we need to simulate a fixed reading/value from it but unfortunately unable as when we enter this value , the reading reset by itself . Is this option prohibited in Yokogawa pressure transmitters??

First off, you have to input everything about your issue. Like, model of the transmitter, range, for pressure/temperature, you are using what instrument to simulate and how you are simulating, is it Hart/Fieldbus, etc. Maybe there is a switch/jumper in the transmitter that prevents you from simulating. Most Emerson transmitters have this switch labelled "SIM ON/OFF". For the case of Yokogawa, maybe a software protection that you need to disable first. Or you have to put it to OOS before you can simulate. You have to check in the manual. Is the DD available in your communicator?

To simulate a fixed reading or value from a Yokogawa Pressure transmitter, you need to ensure that the transmitter is set to simulation mode. If the reading resets itself when you enter the value, it might be because the transmitter is not correctly in simulation mode, or the option might be disabled. Check the transmitter's manual to see if simulation is allowed and how to properly enable it. If simulation mode is prohibited by the transmitter, you will not be able to set a fixed value, and you might need to use an external simulator for your tests.
