can some one tell me the meaning of those variables used in mark vi in a block called A2M: hwVal and failDly

and if there is definitions of those variables could you please tell me where can i find them ?

I've never seen this "block"; I wonder if it's a unit-specific macro. What is the application (what kind of turbine or BOP process)?

I'm going to hazard a guess as to the meanings of the signal names:

hwVal : Hardware (Health) Value
failDly : Failure Delay

I think the "health" of some hardware inputs and outputs can have signal names assigned to them and this would be where the "pin" name (signal name) would be assigned to the block.

I would venture that the second signal is some kind of variable setpoint associated with configuration of some input or output.

But thems just SWAGs (Scientific Wild-Arsed Guesses), never having seen the block. I don't have access to Toolbox any longer; perhaps someone with Toolbox and a .m6b file could look this up?
