Dear All,

I want to automate a vertical injection molding machine. Currently PORCHESON PS660BM was installed.
Now I am going to replace it with DELTA PLC. I am confused how to control proportional valves EFGB-03-125-C-20 & EDG-01-C-20
According to datasheets of the valves, its rated mA are 800. and in PLC, we have max 20mA then How can I control these two proportional valves

The simple answer is a pair of current amplifiers..

You may wish to check other details as to what type of amplifiers are required; in particular response time - Some time ago Siemens specifically designed a ‘moulding injection‘ card for machine control as PLC / analogue card response times would not work.
