We have an impulse sealer in a line or our own packaging equipment. To date we've controlled the seal using only time and pressure. We would now like to add a temperature sensor to improve the quality and reliability of our seals.
What is/are the industry agreed-on sensing and controlling method(s) used to limit maximum temperature of a nichrome, flat wire impulse sealer? What kind of sensor? How do I attach it or otherwise sense wire temperature?
