We plan to replace the O2 probes on our boiler stacks (Natural gas fired.) We use the signal for excess air control. Can anyone recommend a good O2 in situ stack probe?
Get the sample from furnace by extracting take it to cool atmosphere. keep the probe there in a housing and analysis the sample. we have used it in reformer of ammonia plant in Kribhco,Surat.
Manufacturers want you to pay a lot for their O2 sensors, It has been my experience with air to fuel ratio controllers, that a simple O2 sensor picked up from the Auto parts store for 5 dollars, works great. Of course you will need to be able to read the signal, usually a DC voltage signal.
