Integrator Drift in Redundant Digital Control System

in a redundant flight control systems in which 3 or 4 computers are processing the sensor data some drifts may arise because of different latencies in the signal processing for the different computers, asynchronicity or clock synchronization.
In this case as far as the algorithms do not contain any integrator but only algrabaric and filtering functions the error is not so critical. However when you introduce integrators, the different inputs "seen" by these components may cause the integrated values to drift. As a result significant differences in the outputs of the computers may exist.
The problem is not new to the control community, does anyone have suggestion or knew where I can find references?
