JOG - COOLDOWN of 5002C machine before 72h

Dear Sir,
We have just come out of a major inspection MI of a 5002C turbine, not yet for the 72 hour performance test (by GE) which may be scheduled next month!
My question: is it possible to do the JOG or COOLDOWN "by the customer" before ensuring the performance of the machine by GE?
I'm afraid there will be damage to the machine and after the GE told us that we are out of warranty.
Thank you for your reply.

Dear Sir,

How about the MI result...any parts have been replaced /changed .or even repaired and putted back on this unit...?
What about the contract agreement with GE ? As you stated that unit is "out of warranty"..

Is that Performances tests or Trial run ? that you speak about these 72 hours?

Yes, the GE have changed the " diaphragm " and also make holes to fix some parts in "palier" number 2 and 4. For the contract: the GE must test the machine after the MI (72 hours as a warranty) but we haven't do that because of the CO2 empty bottles (we will charge theme during few days later). Now, no one/GE persons are in fields till we call them for the 72 hours test. So, making JOG or COOLDOWN can cause risk to the machine or we can do that without risk? Thank you for your help!

GE recommandations is that immediately after unit shut down , the unit must be in cooldown mode for at least 24 hours /48Hours..

Did you read GE recommandations on Cooldown mode?
