Does anyone know of a supplier who sells a hockey puck transmitter that can meet the following:

1. Hart programmable with PC software.
2. 0-4000 ohm input range.
3. 4-20mA output and reversible to 20-4mA.

I highly recommend the INOR Meso-H and Meso-L models, that are Hart programmable. The H is a hockey puck, the L is a DIN rail mount.

These are loop powered transmitters that are easliy configured for RTD's, Pot's and thermocouples.

We use them all over our Blast furnace. They have been proven to be rugged and reliable.

There is a PR Electronics unit called the 5335A that can handle resistance levels up to 7000 ohms, the unit is programmable, so you can define the range to the 0-4000 ohm input range and adjust the output to suit.

I get them from Omni Instruments Ltd, they do a wide range of the PR Electronics kit and also some others from similar manufacturers. Available online at www.omniinstruments.co.uk
