Please help me with this post....

First, there are Frame 9E machines and Frame 9F machines and Frame 9FA machines that are controlled by Mark V turbine control panels. And there are some significant differences between E-class and F-class machines.

Second, I presume there are two diagnostic alarms listed here, but it's difficult to tell.

Third, some of the newer Frame 9Es and 9Fs were packaged by GE Energy Products Europe, and were provided with some French alarm messages. And this might be some of that, but it just might be poor typing and worse proofreading.

Presuming there are two diag alarms in this post, I've never seen the first, in English or anything close to this in English.

And, the second diagnostic alarm text message is saying that the second milliamp input to <C> on the CTBA card is outside of limits (high or low limits). You can look at the I/O Report and find the input and then look at the input's value using a User Defined Display or Logic Forcing (while analog signals can't be forced they can be viewed on the Logic Forcing Display). You can look at the file IO.ASG, also, to find the signal name assigned to the second mA input to <C>.

 

Meaning typically you are outside the range of the channel less than 4 ma (usually less than 3ma if I remember well) or Above 20ma (more than 21ma if I remember well). Check you transmitter and most probably adjust the zero to be very close to 4mA and most probably there is nothing wrong with you channel or MARK5.

Now, if the channel is NOT connected to anything (NO TRANSMITTER) but enabled this can also explain this alarm you should disable the channel in that case.
