do you know ACPLT, the "Aachener Prozessleitsystem"? It is some kind of a
middleware for process controll stuff. You'll find the homepage on
http://acplt.plt.rwth-aachen.de/welcome.html
and I assume Harald Albrecht will be very willing to answer all your questions here on this list...
