I need step by step procedure to edit an I/O in MK VI Toolbox and to edit screen. Please provide example.

"Please, I need step-by-step procedure for fixing my Kymco scooter and how to paint it. Please provide example."

You didn't tell us what was broken and needed fixing nor what painting method(s) are available to you nor what part(s) of the scooter are to be painted.

You haven't told us what input(s) or output(s) it is you're going to "edit" and what "editing" you need to do, nor what screen (Toolbox or CIMPLICITY) that you want to "edit" and what the screen edit should do.

There is simply zero information for anyone to be able to provide any meaningful assistance. Are you going to be adding a 4-20 mA pressure transmitter input? Are you going to be changing the scaling of 4-20 mA input transmitter? Are you going to be adding a contact input or a relay output? Does the input need to be inverted? Are you going to be relocating a T/C input? Are you going to be adding an axial position probe?

What do you want to edit on what display? Do you want to display the new input or output status/value on a CIMPLICITY display? Do you want to make some pipe on a CIMPLICITY display change colors based on some temperature or level or status?

Lastly, we have no idea of the configuration of your site. If there are multiple units and multiple HMIs and the HMIs are multi-unit HMIs, the addition of even a single value to the EGD and inclusion in the CIMPLICITY projects of all the multi-unit HMIs can be incredibly complicated, and the procedure for doing so is not even the same for every version of Toolbox and CIMPLICITY (and there are many versions of Toolbox and CIMPLICITY). So, we couldn't even begin to try to help for anything other than a single unit with single-unit HMIs, if we knew what versions of Toolbox and CIMPLICITY were in use at your site.

There are some very knowledgeable people here at control.com, but we're not mindreaders.

Even though you provided zero information to be able to get started on your mission, it's likely that we would have gotten completely stalled at some point as more and more important and critical information came to light, and then you would likely end up with a non-working turbine and/or HMIs and you'd have to call someone from the OEM or packager in to assist with restoring everything to a working condition and then finishing what was started.

Please hire someone from the OEM or the packager to come out and do what you want done. Write a specification for what you want done and make sure it's clear and understood by everyone and you'll likely be very happy with the results.
