Can anyone suggest me how to do Rotation check for big pumps/Motors in power plant industry?

 

uncouple it and bump it like most people do or you can buy a phase rotation indicator

Agreed, but if the unit has a VSD/VFD, it is very easy to check rotation at a very slow speed that will not spin an impeller off the shaft or otherwise harm most equipment. Just another thought.
