I am working in NAOH (Caustic Soda) Plant. We are facing great problems due to Corrosion on Electric motors. We want to select a motor resistive against Corrosion due to NAOH plant. please can anyone recommend a motor manufaturer that make motors Clorine resistive.

try grunfos dme, dms, dmm but they are until 50% concentration of NAOH. Beyond 50% i dont have anything.

Responding to Hussain's 19-Jul (17:29) query:
You mentioned two corrosive agents; caustic soda and chlorine. Both agents will attack the most common materials (e.g. aluminium, copper, and iron) found in non-chemical related plants.

Thus, it is very likely you will need sealed stainless-steel motors. I suggest you do a web-search for motors suitable for corrosive environments!

Have you investigated IEEE Std 841, which is an IEEE Standard for the Petroleum and Chemical Industry-Severe Duty Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled (TEFC) Squirrel Cage Induction Motors?
