I was going through the system and found that there is not any NRV in BFP recirculation line which is going to dearator. not understand why?? it can lead back steam from dearator to recirculation valve in case of standby pump and can create hammering.

Why not NRV in BFP Recirculation?

Moderator's note: fixed as many misspelled words as possible. Not sure what dearator is.

Moderator: A deaerator is a device for allowing entrained air/oxygen in condensate to be liberated, thereby improving the condensate "chemistry" (air attacks boiler internals and in undesirable). It's a fairly innocuous method of removing air, and protecting boiler internals.
