You need to select D or P protocol. I think you can get D protocol from pelco. For P protocol, pelco may not give to you, but you still can find it from other resource. (www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/PelcoPDinC.aspx)

I changed sw1 to address 3 and on de software. it also show that the sw1 is on 3, but the d-address is 4, can't move de dome if my keyboard is o address 3 so I had to change it to 4. what did I do wrong.

 

I need to know my PTZ camera with a RS485 Pelco D is not working up and down on online.

I'm not 100% on how to answer your question directly, but I have pelco equipment and I recently investigated their online community - www.pelco.com/community and their tech guys help me within an hour of my post. Hope this helps!
