Power Generation/ Step

Can any one assist me by providing the requirements/ know-how to step-up the power produced by 5 x 415V/ 1,500kVA, 3P4W generators through a common transformer rated for 7,500kVA, input 415Vand output 11kV for distribution?

The generators considered are suitable for parallel operation provided with necessary control for automatic start/ stop as per the power requirement.

- Is there any specific requirement for the generators other than identical sets with same speed and voltage characterises?

- What are the requirements for transformer?

- What are the other requirements (safety/ protection?

- Type of grounding

- Is it necessary to have switchboard between the generator and transformer other than the generator mounted ACB?

Appreciate your kind assistance

I believe there are at least 4 additional questions that must be addressed:

1) Do you need 415V for LV loads other than the auxiliary-service requirements for each gen-set.

2) The weakest link regarding system reliability is the lone 11kV/415V transformer.

3) Earthing requirements of the 415V system.

4) Earthing requirements of the 11kV system.

5) Black-Start requirements.
