The DCIPLC software can run as a simulator or it can be connected to special RS232 hardware that will actually control relays etc. Has a 32 digital I/O channel capability, and also timers, counters and DDE support.

Try "www.pcs7.de":http://www.pcs7.de , and select Support. This is the portal address for the PCS7 system from Siemens, and it has links to instrumentation and field comms. A lot of manuals are available, and you can request a sales CD-ROM.
