Dear All,

I have some problem with PLC TWIDO. We used TWDLMDA20DRT + TM2DD18DT + TM2DRA8RT, software Twidosuite 2.2v and cable TSXCUSB485 for three ships disel-generators CAT 3508. We received new controllers for two DG. Our old controller somebody removed and sent as sample requisition. New controllers is without data. One DG with same controllers is working good.

I tried to read data from working controller and installed it to new one. But I can't do it. Controller is protected. Nobody know password or how to inactivate this protection. Controller shows:

PC->PLC Transfer is impossible
PLC->PC Transfer is protected.

OK, I tried to program it myself. I have no experience and I begun from Zero.

I wrote the simple program and now we have local start/stop, remote start/stop, critical alarm stop, emergency stop. Alarms and sound I can't make correctly. Only 5 seconds for alarm and sound. I couldn't program "ACK/BUZZER" Button and "Reset" Button. How to make this Rung?
I can send somebody my program. Perhaps you will give some advice?

1) I0.0 - test lamp, flash light, buzzer activate Q0.3,Q0.4,Q2.0-2.7
2) I0.1 - ACK/BUZZER
3) I0.2 - RESET

there is an easy way to use generate alarms. You can use opc technology. you can configure three types of alarms, simple, conditional and tracking ones. try this product:

Hello Wasim,

I was trying to install your Matrikon software downloaded from the link that you have provided. Unfortunately the installation hangs while copying MatrikonOPCAnalyzer.EXE, any suggestions please?
