Hello Jagriti,

Are you sure about the nomination of the subject you are referring..
By reading the post one can understanding, that it is talking about shaft voltage/grounding measurements, which is definitely different from Rotor Earth fault Protection device....

Can you please calrify your post ..

Also can you tell us what is:
- Type/model of designated device (shaft voltage /rotor earth fault )...
-Generator Type in case of Rotor earth fault..

By giving these details we can start to discuss to explain how it works , and reply to others questions you are referring to...

Looking to hear back from you soon,
ControlsGuy

Thank you sir,
I was referring to the system of shaft voltage grounding, which is grounded through carbon brush .
Good night!

I suggest you to read this excellent article which it is well explained how shaft voltage /grounding measurement is operated on Gasturbine generator set...

For sure leaving brush wear & tear is not good at all for the Device measurement and monitoring/protection..

So what the Unit App code say about it??

Thank you for sharing..

Looking for your feedback !
