Greetings,
I have a doubt regarding SATEL 3AS Serial Radio. I have a radio which is connected to PLC and another radio with the SCADA. I need to know whether the radio is Live or not. Using Saterm software i could check the transmitting and receiving data before connecting with the PLC. Once i connected with the PLC and SCADA is there any procedure to check whether the radio is in Live???

Please help me with this!!!!

If you cannot determine whether the radio link is live / stays live once connected, programme in a 'heatbeat'
subroutine in the PLC with the SCADA echo back the signal.
