What is the best way to eliminate static build up while vacuuming out live control cabinets. DCS cabinets, PLC cabinets. Large and very dirty marshaling cabinets. I don't want the contractor doing the cleaning to zap a live DCS board with static and shut down the plant.

 

I use an Electronic Service Vacuum made by 3M. They are pricey but are designed for cleaning sensitive equipment.
