Just wondering if STG Lube Oil Mist Separator need to be powered from Emergency or UPS power source? as collegue said as this is a device that avoids explosions so you want a secure supply.

In many plants, equipment associated with lube oil safety and fire/explosion prevention is connected to essential or emergency power, but it is not a universal requirement. The final answer depends on the turbine manufacturer's design and the site's safety philosophy.
