I want to view the 3500 vibration and temperature parameters on the Mark V HMI.How to connect this 3500 to HMI and the configuration details.Pls advice me
If your HMI - which I am totally unfamiliar with - can read modbus then it’s quite easy all you need is to add a communication gate way to your BN 3500 system and configuring it is a snap.
I assume you speak about the Bentley Nevada 3500 monitoring system. I don't know if their CPU has external communication capabilities but there is always the option to add a communication board to your configuration. These boards are available for serial and ethernet (modbus) communication.
Bently Nevada has a package called System One. It has an OPC Server. Cimplicity has an OPC client. So you can connect the two right out of the box. You'll also get access to the timestamps!
