Vector-Group specification of power transformers

what it the different between Dy1 and dy8 ?
I know Dy1 is log and Dy8 is lead!!!!!!

 

Hi,

there is no such vector group is like Dy8.

there are only Dy0,1,6,11.

in that the Capital letter is primary winding and D is for DELTA, Y is for STAR. the small letter is secondary vice versa.

the numerical value is the degree between the primary and secondary winding. 0 means the phase difference between those winding is zero.

Dy1: lagging 1*30 = 30 degrees
Dy8: lagging 8*30 = 240 degrees (or leading 120 degrees)

 

how it conform this by equation?
