we got new valve and has triloop device and need help to calibrate Do i need special test instrument? Can someone help for calibration of triloop device of control valve?

What does the manufacturer's fine manual say for calibration?

 

A Rosemount 333 TriLoop is a break-out box for HART.

It takes a HART signal an breaks out three HART variables as three 4-20mA signals.

The manuals refers to use with a Multivariable or a DP, but I suspect it reads any of the 4 HART variables (primary, secondary, tertiary, quatenary) that a device might have.

I'm sure there's some configuration software for it, because the 4-20mA output(s) need to be spanned.

For a valve positioner, a Triloop might provide position feedback from the positioner.

 

Keep in mind that "calibration" can mean three things:
- Sensor trim
- Range setting
- Current trim

The triloop has no sensor, so you only need to do range setting and possibly current trim
